We are hooked on Predator Cycling's Feed Zone podcast!
Predator makes carbon frames and components out in Southern California. They also offer bike fittings and carbon repair. The knowledgeable - and entertaining! - Predator crew discusses some aspect of cycling every Friday over lunch. They usually invite a guest from the cycling world.
Last week we listened to Episode 15, in which Andy Lakatosh, cycling coach, and former junior World Champion, talks about track racing. We especially loved his perspective on getting kids involved in cycling. He grew up in Trexlertown, PA, home to the legendary T-Town Velodrome. The Velodrome organizes coaching programs for kids of all ages. They start by teaching basic bike handling and safety, and then move on to track racing skills. These programs are noteworthy for the structured coaching they provide - and they create lifelong cyclists!
