    Kissena Cycling: New Member Ride, Sunday, June 7th

    Redbeard Bikes is the sponsor shop for Kissena Cycling, a local cycling club/team based in New York City.

    This Sunday, June 7th, weather permitting (i.e. no rain), they're having a new member ride to Piermont, NY, and back.

    If you're thinking about joining Kissena, please come out for this ride! You can meet current members, learn more about the club, and see if it's a good fit for you.

    Please meet on the NJ side of the George Washington Bridge at 9 AM.

    Redbeard Bikes is Kissena's new sponsor shop!

    Redbeard Bikes is proud to announce that we are the official sponsor shop for Kissena Cycling Club as of January 1, 2015.

    Kissena has a strong presence, and a rich legacy, here in New York City. The club was established in 1963. You've probably seen Kissena riders on the road.

    Keep your eyes open for the Redbeard Bikes logo on the new team kits!

    When the 2015 season starts, we hope you'll join us at the races in Prospect Park and at the Kissena Velodrome.

    Kissena Velodrome - Twilight Track Series & NYS Track Championships

    Track races are magical. They remind me of ballet - the cyclists appear graceful and poised - but you know they are working so hard.

    If you've never seen a track race live, you have two chances this week!

    This Wednesday night (8/27) is the last race in the Twilight Series out at the Kissena Velodrome in Queens.

    And on Saturday and Sunday (8/30-31), you can catch the New York State Track Championships, also at Kissena.
