Redbeard Bikes first opened its red doors in the tiny jewelbox space at 165 Front Street in November 2012. A year later, bursting at the seams, we moved into new digs just around the corner at 69 Jay Street.

We pride ourselves on being a down-to-earth shop where novice and pro are equally welcome. We especially love working with new cyclists, or cyclists who have outgrown their old rides and are seeking the next level. Whether you are a commuter, a recreational rider, a racer -- we will build you a bike that exceeds your expectations.

We work with a few beloved bicycle brands: Brompton, Parlee, Mosaic, Seven, Specialized, Giant/Liv, Surly, All-City, Gunnar, and Co-Motion. We are a Giant PRO dealer and an S-Works dealer. We are proud to ride bikes from all these brands, and we invite you to try them out. 

Redbeard Bikes is a full-service shop. We do all manner of repairs: from flats to tune-ups. We build wheels. We love building custom and project bikes. Got an idea? Talk to us, we'll make it happen.

We carry a curated selection of top-notch accessories and components. We invite you to visit us, or shop online. All products listed as in stock, are available for same-day pick-up in the shop! Coveting that Brooks bag, but want to see how it looks on you? Come on down!

If an item is out of stock, we can usually have it for you in 1-3 days. Don't see what you're looking for? Give us a shout. We're happy to special order just about anything!
