Introducing...
a limited edition sock collection designed for Redbeard Bikes by artist Graydon Kolk.
"When there's something I want to embody, I literally add it to my body in the form of a tattoo," says Kolk. "When I'm cycling, or running, I imagine myself as different animals. I'll even say that animal's name as a mantra to help me keep going.
So when you're getting dressed to ride, and you're picking socks...you can choose the animal that captures the spirit of the ride you wanna do that day. 'Today I'm gonna ride hard, so I'll put on my CHARGE socks and imagine a bison.' Tomorrow I'm gonna mountain-bike, I'll put on [can you guess?]...
Most of my life I've drawn people, faces -- it's been fun to learn to draw animals, to simplify animals into icons that'll look good on socks."
Photo 1 is the CHARGE sock; Photos 2-4 are process photos. Photo 5 is a size chart.
The other animals/designs are delayed, but we still have some Bison/CHARGE left!
These socks are DeFeet Aireators 6" cuff.

ABOUT THE DEFEET AIREATOR:
The Aireator is the sock that started DeFeet, designed in 1992 as the first cycling sock with an open mesh weave instep for breathability and moisture wicking.
The lightweight and durable Aireator has a close fit in performance cycling shoes, and the fiber blend includes Repreve®, a recycled performance polyester locally manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, reducing landfill waste.
