2014 Brompton World Championship
This year's Brompton World Championship USA (BWC USA) will take place on September 25th, as part of the UCI Road World Championships in Richmond, Virginia.
The event will follow the traditional format of a "Le Mans" style start, with each competitor sprinting to his or her Brompton and unfolding the bike before taking off for a lap on the 10-mile UCI Road World Championships circuit.

The Brompton World Championship was first held in Barcelona in 2006. Ten years on there are 11 satellite events taking place around the world, including Japan, Korea, Germany, and Mexico.
The fastest male and female automatically qualifies for the BWC 2016 Final.
